I was driven from a desire to earn an income from home. Because of the children's tennis commitments, it made it very difficult for me to go out to work regular hours for a 'boss'.

I had a computer, knew the basics of how to work it and thought that I could put it to work for me. Little did I know where it would lead!

I tried grappling with the complexities of front page via several books, but it all seemed complete nonsense to me. What I needed was something simple that I could use like a word processor, that in effect did it all for me.
 

I can't tell you what a fortunate person I was to come across a small snippet in an online newsletter about Ken Evoy's Site Build It!.

Here was Manna from Heaven!

A step by step Action Guide, which built the site - all I had to add was the enthusiasm, hard work, written words and commitment to produce my first site. All I had to worry about was writing the pages.

My first website was in a very difficult area of working from home - highly competitive and what experiences did I really have at that stage to help other people?
 

I started to flounder a bit, failed to follow the Action Guide exactly, mostly because I'd chosen such a difficult niche and like everything, if you don't love it enough, it's very easy to lose focus.
 

Losing focus, I started to spend lots of money getting very off-track in an effort to bring visitors to my site, without any success. I kept trying various things, following people who just took my money and left me to figure it out for myself.

The accountant was getting very aggitated with my willy-nilly spending, trying to find "the key", but once you have a bug to do something, you can't rest until you find the answer and I just knew that there was a way to make money online, I just had to find it.

Nitro Incubator is a mentor-driven programme. With Site Build It, a mentor at the end of the phone, a step by step email programme and another tried and tested system called Net Profits on Demand by Joshua Shafran, I decided to give it my very last shot. It was Nitro Incubator or bust!

From late September 2004, I've not looked back. I followed the system exactly, through the email course, the back-up of my mentor, Kathi and all the resources open to niche managers with the Nitro Incubator system. This website is the product of that course, coupled with my love of Cape Town.
